Groundhog Day....

That is what today is!  Groundhog Day!  Is there a "resident groundhog" who is used as a weather predictor in your area?   I'm sure many of you are hoping he will not predict six more weeks of winter!

Here are some things that are disappearing for the season.

Snowflakes.

Snowflakes, too.

The only snowmen we saw around our place.

In place of the snowflakes and snowmen, this is the month for these:

Do you see the hearts?

Repeat from previous post.

More hearts.

So - I am ready for February - from head....

                                                                         .....to toes!:-)

Thank you for reading.  I appreciate your comments.

  5. Good Morning, Early Spring my friend. It doesn't seem that way now because it is 19 degrees and waiting for snow this evening. Love the socks! Great photos, Anna.

  6. Oh, I would keep the snowflakes and snowmen out a bit longer, just because they look so cute and fun! Of course, those socks are fun, too. Not sure whether anything saw a shadow this morning here, since the sun's been playing peek-a-boo with the clouds, so I'll just hang in there and see what comes along. have a great day! :-)

  8. Hi Nellie, Lots of snow up here this morning --about 3 inches. SO pretty to a Snow Lover like me...

The groundhog would not have seen his shadow here today--so maybe our sprouting spring flowers will be correct in that it may be an early spring..... Who knows???

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  9. Your snow flake ear rings remind me that I think I have lost one of mine. -pout- Will have to look more closely... But one seemed gone, when I got out another pair of ear rings.

I only have one pair of really red ear rings... Garnet color actually. Funny, since I love the color RED. :-)

I've heard that march and April are Colorado's snowiest months so i think the groundhog's predictions don't fly here --lol!
