October tradition....

Always a favorite sign along the highway....

....and the traditional Homecoming welcome.

Mounds of yellow chrysanthemums adorn the campus for Homecoming week-end.  Many friends were present, offering great times for conversation about happenings through the years!

  1. It is a lovely campus, and has been for many years! I'm so happy that you were able to attend this special weekend at your Alma Mater and enjoy the fellowship of your former classmates. Have a marvelous Monday, Sister!

  2. Nellie, Glad you had a great weekend. The campus was probably a welcoming sight for you and your friends. I remember going to see my daughters at college and enjoying our time just walking around . I wish all kids could count their blessings of receiving a good education. Hope this is a good week for you. xoxo,Susie

  7. Hi Nellie, It's been forever since I heard from you. I looked at my list and the last time you visited my blog was on Oct. 2.... Holy Cow--where has the time gone? October is almost over.

You all have been on the go so much this month. But--that is good!!!! I'm sure you enjoyed it.

We had a great vacation to the Maggie Valley area.. I published a cute blog today from our vacation in Cataloochee this past week. Check it out if you haven't yet.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
