The first!

I'm happy to share with you today the first grapes harvested from our vines!

Yes, there are some that are still green, but those ripe ones are delicious!

  2. Congratulations... your very own grapes. I would have a hard time to wait until they were completely ripen too. Those birds probably are just anxious to get to them.
    Hugs,

  3. Nellie, They are beautiful. Are you going to make some jelly? As a kid I remember eating some of the neighbor's grapes and there were always spiders in the vines. YIKES. :) Be careful. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  4. How lovely to see some of your very own grapes! I hope there will be enough for you to do something wonderful with them, but if not, then just eating them will be wonderful enough! Have a great day, Sister!

  8. Now nice to have your own grapes.
We passed MANY grape fields in NY on the way to my moms and counted more than 40 wineries.

  9. Oh, how I'd love to have grapes grow in my yard. Favorite Young Man has an orange tree, but I don't know if the oranges are edible.

    Love,
    Janie

  10. Ooooh, yum! Do you ever have them frozen? Not only do they taste great frozen, but they also make excellent ice cubes and don't dilute your drink. I've heard they are great for chilling wine, but I'm not a wine drinker.
