It’s all about the cookies....

Do you have a favorite Christmas cookie?  Is it homemade?  Do you bake it every year?  There are a few that are traditional for us; however, I’m always ready to try something different, and I have one or two new ones to try this season.

This recipe for Chocolate Crinkles is readily available on the Betty Crocker website.

They look like this on the cookie sheet before going into the oven....

....and here they are after they are baked!  I might just be able to say that they are my new favorite cookie!

Tomorrow’s menu?  Beef and noodles sounds like a good choice to me!  Perhaps a cookie or two for dessert!

Stay safe and well!

  2. How about 10 or 20 cookies for dessert? Those crinkles look delicious. Sprits are my favorite Christmas cookies. I didn't bake the last few years, but I hope to do so this year.

  4. My oven isn't great for baking cookies without scorching the ones on the edge of the pans. I'll just pop on over and have a cookie or two with you instead.

  5. We used to always do all sorts of Christmas baking and I had my favourites - chocolate marshmallow roll, cornflake toffee drops, and almond cherry balls, for example. I always loved my mom's ginger cookies. I don't bake much for Christmas anymore. A friend is selling her famous gingersnaps this year so I ordered a few dozen, some to give away to neighbours and a couple for us to enjoy over the holidays with tea. I like shortbread. Might do a small batch of those. It will be just of the two of us for Christmas.

    Your chocolate crinkles look delicious.

  6. The cookies look delicious. My favorite Christmas cookies are Cranberry cookies and they have become my family's favorite as well. They taste so much better the next day.

    Stay safe and well.
