….to let you know that today is National Chocolate Day? I know, I know….I thought EVERY day could be Chocolate Day! Well, this is that special day devoted to chocolate, and we have to honor that, of course!
Ready to turn on the heat and start cooking!
All done! See, that didn’t take long at all! I did add a splash of vanilla extract and that small pat of butter when the cooking was finished.
Whipped some cream to place on top, then shook a little powdered hot chocolate over the top for a garnish. I may have overdone the garnish bit just a little.:-)
The Husband happened in the kitchen as this was in process, and he thanked me profusely for preparing him a special treat! 😂 It has since disappeared!
Looks like I need to do something about that empty cake stand. Room Rater wouldn’t be giving me a very high score on this one!
Have you had some chocolate today? What is your favorite treat? There is still time for you to prepare this pudding. No separating, no special box from the grocery store, just Bisquick (or any other baking mix would work), sugar, cocoa, and milk! Try it! You’ll like it!
That sounds pretty simple. To answer your question, no I didn't had chocolate today. 😭ReplyDelete
Sounds and looks delicious and easy. I usually use the pkg but have copied down your recipe to try. Thanks.ReplyDelete
Forgot to mention I'll be having some chocolate ice cream a little later. :)ReplyDelete
Well, Sister, I say that a day without chocolate is a day without fun, no matter what else you do with your day! Oh, and I've had a couple of my favorite cookies - Nabisco Chips Ahoy! chocolate chunk cookies. They really live up to their reputation, as far as I'm concerned. Gotta have a little chocolate to make any day better. Love you!ReplyDelete
Never too late for chocolate! Glad the Husband enjoyed the pudding. Looks delicious.ReplyDelete
Yes, every day is chocolate day in my opinion, Nellie! I bet that pudding was yummy.ReplyDelete
What a Yummy dessert you made, Nellie. I like all the ingredientsReplyDelete
you used for this. I LOVE CHOCOLATE! And I usually have it every
other day. So nice of you to make this treat for your husband. : )
I hope you have wonderful November days, Nellie.
Wow, Nellie. Got caught up on your posts. You've been doing a lot of cooking and baking! The pudding looks especially tempting. Glad you are doing okay. Autumn is here, heading at full speed toward winter. Come visit some time. You haven't stopped by in quite a spell! Sincerely, SusanReplyDelete
I adore chocolate. I'm your new follower. May you follow me back?ReplyDelete
Thanks and have a nice day!
I will never turn down chocolate, Nellie, especially dark chocolate. I will have to try your recipe as my husband loves chocolate pudding.ReplyDelete
