An outing....

As I have mentioned earlier, we were visited last week by Munchomom (one of our daughters), Machoman, and the two Munchkins.  It is always great fun to have them all around!  One afternoon, we went on an outing to an arboretum in a nearby town.  It is a really nice area for exploration, and we could have filled a day walking the trails.  It was not our goal to cover all of it, however, and we kept the walking limited to what the Munchkins would enjoy.

Flowers near the entrance.

Trees and plants along the trail.

More blooming plants.

Still more....

...and even more.

From the Marsh Area.

More from the Marsh Area.

None of us were walking faster than this.:-)

Munchkin was excited to find this, his sister not quite as excited.:-)
It was a beautiful day, and we enjoyed stopping for frozen yogurt on the way back home!:-)

Thank you to those of you who are reading along.  I enjoy your comments!

  1. Wow- What beautiful gardens to visit. Amazing and gorgeous. I love teh caterpillar crawling on little Munchie there- My brother was so allergic to them and if they crawled on him at all it left a bright red trail on his skin.

Have a wonderful night! xo Diana

  3. Some of these ladies need to know about the other critters at the home of Munchomom and Machoman! Not your ordinary menagerie at all, but lots of fun, I'm sure!

These gardens are really beautiful, but I have never been to visit. Perhaps we need to put that on our list soon. You all did have wonderful weather conditions for that visit! :-)
