This season....

This season has given much to love -

Trees in bloom....sign of spring's arrival!

....and a trip to Emory and Henry College, my alma mater, for Founders Day!  There are always great preparations made for those of us who return!

  2. Well, the trees and all the spring blooms are lovely, but pictures of food always win the contest with me! LOL I'm so happy that you're able to stay in touch with your alma mater, and it's obvious that E & H cares greatly about those who return. Have a terrific Tuesday, Sister! Love you!

  4. Here Spring is very Spring-like: wild and sometimes downright nasty.

  5. Hi Nellie:)
I hope you had a wonderful reunion Nelllie. I don't mind saying I usually shy away from mine, lol...

Spring is beginning to show her presence in my neck of the woods. Boy oh boy, am I glad! I can't wait to get my hands dirty, lol...

    Thanks for sharing, Nellie...

  6. I'll probably never visit my university. I'd like to go when my favorite professor retires, but when one has no money, one does not travel far.

    Love,
    Janie

  8. I just read a story about a man whose mission is to get rid of all of the Bradford pear trees. He said when they were first brought here they were supposed to be infertile, but they are not. And they are cross pollinating with pear trees everywhere. I've never heard of such a thing, have you?
