I have taken time to take a couple of pictures to show you some blooming that is going on here.

The chives are even joining in. |
We have three clumps of chives, and they are all about to burst into bloom.
Not pictured are the new blooms on the few strawberry plants we have. They are ever-bearing, so I am looking forward to just a few berries in the next little while.
Currently, we are really in need of rain. There is some in the forecast, so perhaps there will be some relief soon.
Thank you for reading. I truly appreciate your comments. Not too sure about the next post, but there will be another.:-)
Have a good evening!
You do have some pretty blooms there, Nellie! I hope you get some rain. We finally got some and our lawn greened right up again. It is lovely to see those storms move in...we are at one of our driest summers ever. xoDiana
ReplyDeletesuch lovely plants, I like the sound of those berries, IO will try to send some rain your way!
ReplyDeleteThe plants are beautiful. I bought some strawberries and a couple of peaches at the store this morning.
ReplyDeleteI hope we both get rain!
Yes, we do need some rain in these parts. It seems to be going all around us here, but we should get some before too much longer, if we can believe our local weather forecasters. Your plants are always so lovely and healthy-looking! You and The Husband really pay attention to those growing things, and they repay you with beautiful colors and crops! Great job!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have strawberries again! We finally got a HUGE thunderstorm in the middle of the night last evening. We've actually given up on our garden this year because of the drought and Mr. Ground hog.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard coming up with posts isn't it? Sometimes it is easier than other times. Pretty soon you will see posts every where you go. :) Then your family will come in and ask, " Are you going to blog that?"
ReplyDeleteLike my husband he starts taking pictures. You have done really well too. I always enjoy reading about what you have been doing.
Hi Nellie....Thanks so much for all your visits and comments. Always great to know you stopped by.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your holiday.
Lots of places are experiencing drought. Hope it rains there soon. Susan
I love your Crepe Myrtle. They are such pretty trees. I also like the flowers of chives. They look very healthy.
