This orchid was a real surprise! I've never had one of these before! It requires some special care - three ice cubes once a week! I haven't killed it yet! Perhaps there is hope for me!:-)
Thank you for reading. I really appreciate your comments.
I have seen those kinds of Orchids at the grocery store and have always admired them. Yours is beautiful. You must be doing something right! Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful orchid, Nellie! Bonus points to your husband!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are pretty.
ReplyDeleteLOL- When my daughter got orchids I thought she had bought fake flowers because she had killed every other plant she ever had. She has REALLY good luck with them. Yours is gorgeous AND don't use the ice cubes from your whiskey sour on them!;>) lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIce cubes - now that's interesting! Enjoy it, Nellie. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd the ice cubes really work I gave one to my friend when her boyfriend passed away 2 years ago and it's still going strong!

Hi Nellie , late but here . What a gorgeous 'Orchid'. Give your husband a kudo from me for being so thoughtful . I heard of the ice cube therapy , I heard it works . I play soft music to mine . Such a beautiful color . Thanks for sharing , have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteYour orchid is beautiful. Good luck caring for it. I never tried to grow them. I stick with the plants that can take watering neglect usually.
