A new month....

Happy March 1 to everyone!

Just a bit of a "leftover" from February:

A Valentine's Day gift from The Husband!

This orchid was a real surprise!  I've never had one of these before!  It requires some special care - three ice cubes once a week!  I haven't killed it yet!  Perhaps there is hope for me!:-)

    I have seen those kinds of Orchids at the grocery store and have always admired them. Yours is beautiful. You must be doing something right! Have a great weekend.

    I never heard of the 3 ice cubes a week..
    I have been tempted to try them again:) Maybe you have the formula:)

    LOL- When my daughter got orchids I thought she had bought fake flowers because she had killed every other plant she ever had. She has REALLY good luck with them. Yours is gorgeous AND don't use the ice cubes from your whiskey sour on them!;>) lol xo Diana

    And the ice cubes really work I gave one to my friend when her boyfriend passed away 2 years ago and it's still going strong!

    Your orchid is beautiful. Good luck caring for it. I never tried to grow them. I stick with the plants that can take watering neglect usually.
