.....is about a safety pin. Do you have one somewhere? This may be a use you might consider for it.
There are those among us in our nation just now who are feeling threatened and vulnerable - more so than they usually feel. I am joining with the Safety Pin America movement by wearing a safety pin on my clothing each day. This indicates that anyone who is feeling threatened will be able to feel safe with me.
I have not heard about this plan, but it does sound like an excellent idea for those who are looking for a safe, kind ear to listen to their concerns. Thank you for always being that kind of person, Sister! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad this idea, which originated after the UK's disastrous Brexit referendum in June, has crossed the Pond and is set to be a global symbol for safety.
ReplyDeleteI recently read about this symbol of safety. Hopefully the word will spread around about it so folks will be aware. ♥
ReplyDeleteGood for you, Nellie. We have to stand with the poor and downtrodden. Can you wear any kind of safety pin? I'm with you. I'd do it for sure. Susan
ReplyDeleteI'm in Canada and we share similar social issues. I'm for joining wearing this symbol with others.
ReplyDeleteI see that even a baby in diapers would know from that pin that (s)he's safe with you, Nellie. :D
