In unsettling times, I find it helpful to focus on gratitude.
Despite my irregular posting on this blog in the past few years, there are still some of you who follow along. For those of you who continue to check, I am grateful. Other things on my gratitude list today are:
- the beautiful sky at sunrise
- the washer and dryer that greatly simplify the laundry chores that are childhood memories
- the love of family
- good health
- friends who care
- a good night's sleep
- energy to be about a rather active, demanding schedule today!
If I may send along a little advice....wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands! Oh, and stay home if you are ill!
Sending wishes for all good things to come your way today!
Sounds like all great things to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon, Sister! I'm grateful for all those things you mentioned, and one more, if I may be so bold. I'm grateful for a sister who, although we disagree on some issues, still finds time to send me an email each night, just to let me know how her day has been and find out how mine is going as well. I love you, and yes, I wash my hands often with Dial soap and warm water! :-)
ReplyDeleteA lot to be thankful for! Have a good week, take care!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nellie. Even though I don't often comment I do catch up with your posts now and then. Thank you for keeping in touch in this way over the years.
ReplyDeleteIn these changing times, I wish for you and your family many blessings in the days to come.

Staying at home when ill is a luxury for too many people.
