Oh, dear....

This is happening outside....

....while this is going on inside!

Those green shoots are peeping up from the ground while this pot of soup is bubbling away!  Last week's springlike temperatures must have given those bulbs the signal that it was time for their appearance.  Winter is back with us this week!

  1. Oh no, the poor bulbs will freeze if winter is coming back! That happened here last year, too :(
That soup looks delicious. Can I come over for dinner? :)

  2. Oh, and there are some buds on some trees, too! Sure hope they don't get their little noses pinched! I think I can smell that pot of soup along with some cornbread for The Husband, and the aroma is delightful! Have a marvelous Monday, Sister!

  4. Nellie, Isn't that amazing, something wants to grow already. I love seeing it. My soup I was going to make yesterday turned out to be beef stew.LOL. I got started and thought , we have not had stew for a long time. So made it instead. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo,Susie

  10. The pot of soup is a real winner here. I love homemade soup and yours looks delicious.

Wow, it's a bit early for shoots to pop out of the ground. I wonder if it will damage the bulbs.

We're waiting for a big snow storm again. Sigh....
