We love breakfast....

In fact, I believe I can safely say that breakfast is my favorite meal!  Since I have disclosed that bit of information, it will come as no surprise that this is my selection for this Cookbook Wednesday.

Published in 1987, it hasn't been around as long as others that have been featured here.

It is easy to see that there are many interesting selections included in the book.

It is also easy to see that this book has been well-loved!

One of my favorites is this Apple Pancake.  Yum!

This is very tasty, too!

Oops!  Extra dose of love on this page. LOL  The recipe for Baked Doughnuts was a favorite of Country Girl when she was still at home.  In fact, it still is.:-)

Do you enjoy breakfast?  What is a favorite of yours?

Just so you know, I am no longer receiving email notices of comments by Octoberfarm, Brit in Tennessee, or Bee Lady.  I like to respond to your comments, and I've tried to do that under your comment on the blog.

Also, no one has stated a "claim" on this book -

If you are interested in it, just let me know in the comments.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Those recipes do look mighty tasty! My favorite breakfast here at home would have to be chocolate chip pancakes, but on the rare occasion when we have breakfast out, I enjoy strawberry crepes. Now my mouth is watering---are you happy? :-) Have a wonderful Wednesday, Sister!

  2. The baked doughnuts sounds interesting but I couldn't read the ingredients even when I zoomed on it. It's just as well as I have so many recipes now that at a loss to know which one to choose from. My mom never had that problem. lol... just recipes in her head...

I feel bad no one wants to read the Daughters of England.

We're getting another snow storm and about 5 to 6 inches since this morning.

    Take care,
    Hugs.

  5. That's obviously a well loved cookbook, and it looks wonderful. I added you to Cookbook Wednesday! So glad you let me know this post was here.

I'd be willing to take in that book and read it, and share it with my daughters, if no one else wants it.

  6. I LOVE breakfast, Nellie and, I LOVE that book!!! I've made those yummy Apple Pancakes countless times. I think it is so cool to know that we both have shared recipes at different times in our life out of the exact same book. Very cool:)

Thanks so much for sharing, Nellie...
