Breaking for books....

I'm taking a break away from pumpkin creations to spend some time with books.

Almost finished with The Well Women, and I need to complete the other two before December!  Yikes! That will be some fast reading!  All these books are from the United Methodist Women Reading list for 2015.

What are you reading?

  1. Nellie, I am thinking of getting a new book to read this winter ...as I have become the slowest reader ever. I used to read all the time. So sad. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

    1. Susie, I used to read books all the time too. Every night before bed and when I couldn't sleep. Since I started blogging, Facebook, Instagram...I read less books.

  2. I'm reading several books. I always read several at the same time, but the most important reading is for editing.

  4. Oh, Sister!!! You would be so ashamed of me! We have shelves and shelves of wonderful books, but I am not reading anything right now, except my online Bible reading and other online devotional materials. Most of my time is spent just catching up on unpacking and discovering new places here! Hope your Friday is fantastic! Love you!

  7. I'm not reading any books right now but working on binding and whipping rugs edges.
I just finished reading a book by a local author Jean-Marie Denning Jingle Bell Disorder. It's a spiritual book of sort.

I love books but I have so many other hobbies as well and not enough time for everything...

Take care and have a great weekend and I hope you get plenty of reading time.
    Hugs,
    JB

  9. I just finished a trio of novellas, "Autumn Brides," which I'll be writing about on the blog next week. Sweet, light and fun and definitely good company for subway trips.

  11. Hi Nellie, I always have a book going. I usually get them on my android from the free library. Sometimes I go over my 2 weeks and have to wait again to sign up but I have to have a book going. Right now I am on the Jan Karon latest. Dooley and Lace are getting married and they are having adventures as usual. Love her Mitford stories. Hugs, LJ

  12. You'll have to just sit and read for a while, Nellie - sounds nice, doesn't it? :)

  13. I read the one in the middle and liked the book club idea so much, although it was started after the author's mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The list of books they read made me want to read their choices. I really liked this one and hope to read a fraction of the ones they read together. Sad story but well written. Happy Thanksgiving.
