Just imagine....

Often, when I begin cooking something, I become so engrossed in the process that I never think to take a picture!  That was the case with this one -

This is the final product!  Pumpkin Bread!

While I omitted the raisins from the muffins posted earlier, everything is included in this bread!  I love that the recipe makes three loaves as that gives enough to enjoy one, give one away, and store one in the freezer for later!

  1. Nellie, Pumpkin bread is our all time favorite in my family. My girls can all make it. I used to make it and bake in soup cans...it would make some nice small loafs to share with others. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  2. Oh, Sister! I can just taste it, warm and with some cream cheese....YUM!!! I have a friend who puts chocolate chips in her pumpkin bread, and that is delicious as well! Of course, she omits the raisins, but I'll bet I would like it with raisins AND chocolate chips. After all, raisins are fruit, and that makes it good for you, right? LOL Have a terrific Tuesday! Love you!

  3. Wow, you've ben a busy baker. I baked a pumpkin pie last evening and have some pumpkin puree left. Mmmm, maybe I'll make muffins. That's probably the only thing I'll bake till Christmas, lol...

  4. You have been baking a lot lately! Thank you for sharing the recipes. My neighbor brought over some pumpkin bread for me the other day and I was so excited about it. Not because of the bread but because I am making friends out here in my new neighborhood. Even after three years I still consider it new.

    1. I don't know why, Cindy Bee, but I no longer receive a message on my email when you make a comment. You aren't the only one. It takes awhile after moving to begin to feel like you are "at home." Yay for that neighbor!

  5. I have a banana bread recipe that makes three loaves. It's my favorite. I can't eat nuts, though, and I won't eat raisins. They look like dead flies.

    Love,

  6. My pumpkin bread is very similar and it too makes 3 loaves. I love that. I also make 6 little loaves and give them out at Christmas time. Perfect size for a little gift.
