Christmas in the country....

Once again, we went to the country for Christmas dinner!  The Country Couple were wonderful hosts!

The Christmas tree.

Country Man baked a wonderful apple pie in an iron skillet!

Country Girl baked a delicious chocolate cheese cake!

Where was the camera when the freshly-baked bread came out of the oven?!?:-)  It was just as good!

  1. Oh, that tree is just so much like them! Just lovely! All that delicious food is mouth-watering, too, and I'm sure The Husband totally enjoyed the apple pie, especially! Have a wonderful Wednesday, Sister, and try to stay dry!! Love you!

  4. I got an iron skillet for Christmas and plan to make the kind of corn bread that is made in a skillet. I'll have to try that apple pie too. : )

  6. I'm so glad you got a good Christmas with family. The dessert looks so good. I finally got my iron skillet at the second hand store. It had a small rust spot which I scrubbed and now it looks like new again after using it for a few weeks. I love it.

Wishing you all the Best for 2016.
    Hugs, JB
