What we love....

....taking a tray of cookies to serve for refreshments when my UMW Circle played Bingo with residents of an assisted living facility,

....French toast in a mug for breakfast (thanks Danielle at Heartfelt Home!),

....that "mystery recipe" for Chocolate Bread,

....and who knew there is such a thing as purple cauliflower?? (Thank you, Trader Joe's)!

Roasted with green and the usual white, it was delicious for dinner!

Have you discovered something new recently?

  1. Lucky you, Nellie, to have a Trader Joe's. I love that store and went to the one in Williamsburg last week. Thank you for the beautiful recipe of the Chocolate bread. Happy singing, dear one. ♥

  3. It looks so nice. Thank you for the recipe. Right now, I cannot get enough vegetables. So that is what looks the best. I have never seen/saw purple cauliflower. Could your write a rhyme like the purple cow rhyme with cauliflower?
I am supposed to be working hula hoeing. So maybe I will see what I can come up with. Have a lovely Friday, Nellie

  4. Thank you for that completed recipe for chocolate bread. I don't know whether I'll ever tackle it or not, since my track record with yeast products is not sterling, but I sure would be willing to be someone's tester! LOL Have a fabulous Friday, Sister! Love you! Oh, and I hope to "discover" a new mixer today, as my faithful one has finally bitten the dust.
