Happy Monday to you! Did you enjoy your week-end? Is this week full of responsibilities and activities for you?
By the way, several of you commented on the wreath in the last post. The wreath is one that is hanging at church, so I cannot take credit for it. It is just one of many beautiful decorations that are on display at church for this season.
During this season, I hope you are having some time to slow down and take some time for yourself, maybe even take time for this.

So - that's it from here for now. Thank you for reading. I really appreciate your comments.
Oh, I do love tea, especially peppermint tea, and those books look lovely! Of course, I wish I could reach into the monitor and grab some of those luscious treats you've prepared, too, as anything sweet is my downfall! Please enter me into the drawing, if you don't mind. Now, I feel the need for a cup of tea with a brownie.... Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteSlow time is hard to come by this time of year isn't it? I try to make it for myself though. That plate of cookies looks like it has my name written all over it :)
ReplyDeleteWe love tea all during the year, but enjoy the Teas of Winter/Christmas this time of year. We don't eat all of those sugary goodies --but I'm sure they are delicious!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat book looks neat.. Love all of the Teas/Celebrations of Christmas... Giving and Tradition are two of my favorites.
Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love tea Nellie! My favorite tea is the honey tea from Celestial. I like my tea with a spoonful of honey in it.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be entered in your contest Nellie.
Love tea too Nellie. Don't enter me in your great contest tho - the book should go to someone who loves to cook. My back won't allow me to do much of that anymore.
ReplyDeleteNellie, Since I won your last give away, I won't enter so someone else can win. I love your Christmas tea spread...it looks very good. Those books are so sweet. You must have an amazing collection of books. Hope you are doing well. We had a decent day, although we got more snow in the night. Yes, I am ready for Spring.LOL. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOh, my dear Nellie. Wht a treat for the eye. And by the way, things seem to be going well. x o
ReplyDeleteOh those cookies look delicious.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite tea but I like all the herb ones and I like having my tea in a real tea cup. Seems to taste better in one. : )
I'd love to be entered in your give away.
Thank you.
I am with Keith tea time in Tennessee is where I would like to be.... beautiful. B
ReplyDeleteI love tea and we have a variety of green teas, assorted herbal teas but my favourite everyday tea is King Cole Orange pekoe tea packaged in St John N.B., a neighbouring city not far from here.
ReplyDeleteI love Earl Grey tea also and my bedtime tea is Camomile. On cold winter evening I love a Cinnamon Apple tea and ice lemon tea in the hot summer. When I need an immune boost, I drink Ecninacea tea. My husband love ginger tea for his digestion.
Your tea time looks pretty special with the fancy tea set.
I never knew that such a magazine existed. I guess there are lots of tea lovers out there.
I'd love to be entered in your give away.
Thanks for doing this.
Hugs,
JB
What a fun collection. These are perfect times for a cup of tea. Keep warm!
ReplyDeleteI am loving all your giveaways! I am a happy winner, too. I love tea, tea parties, etc. I love scones hot from the oven with Devonshire cream. And raspberry jam. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love a good tea party...especially one with so many beautiful sweet treats. Jasmine tea is my favorite. Reminds me of our time in China. Christmas hugs!
ReplyDeleteHi, Nellie: I, too, have Emilie Barnes' Twelve Teas of Christmas as well as her If Teacups Could Talk and Timeless Treasures - charming books. Since moving to the Gulf coast, I'm drinking more iced tea these days; however, I do like a cup of Twinings Earl Grey with honey and cream, and perhaps a cookie or two. (I'm a recovering addict of Starbucks' Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino!) Thanks for your fun giveaways...
