Yay! The Husband has finished the living room flooring! Now to add the details that give the "finishing touch."
My help? "Don't you think built-in bookshelves would look nice over there?":-) Oh, dear! Spring is coming! Maybe the "rainy season" will be long enough to accomplish that project. Our rain is predicted to be with us throughout this week and into the next one!
Keep smiling!
that looks beautiful and I love the color!
ReplyDeleteLooking good!

ReplyDeleteWell, I had posted a comment, then noticed an error, so here goes again! Maybe I'll learn to "edit" before I "publish" some day!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it looks as if The Husband has done another great job! Do you think he's ready to come out of retirement and begin a new career? LOL Based on what we're seeing from our weather people, those bookshelves might have a good chance of being installed before the monsoon season ends this week. Have a terrific Tuesday, Sister
Congratulations to your husband for doing such a great job. He did it before Spring and you both must be so happy. Built in book shelves will look nice.
ReplyDeleteBetter rain than snow and ice but Sunshine would ne perfect.
Hang in there Nellie.
Hugs,
JB
great job!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! As much as I don't want to talk about rain, perhaps you will be able to get those bookshelves. Wish my husband was more handy, we sure would have time to do things, if rain was any indicator.
ReplyDeleteNellie, Your husband is good to just keep working along. It will be done and be gorgeous. Hope you are having warmer temperatures. We are, it's was like spring today. I got by in a fleece jacket in the car. :) Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteSuper impressive!! Good luck convincing your husband to work on those special bookshelves too.
ReplyDeleteJob well done Nellie , kudos to the husband . Yes , a bookcase will go nicely there :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous looking floors. Yes, book shelves would look great!!
ReplyDeleteI will sa it again, I admire your courage.
ReplyDeleteYou're a pistol. :D Your husband is a very useful fellow.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, Nellie. I just love it!!!! I bet you are so happy to have that done. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love my built-in bookcases in my family room. There are two, with French doors in between them. The French doors make no sense because they lead to the laundry room, which can also be reached by strolling through the kitchen. I would like to replace the French doors with another bookcase, and put the French doors in between the dining room and family room. When will your husband be available to get started? You're welcome to come, too. It's 72 degrees with a pleasant breeze from the ceiling fan.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Love the floor! It looks great. yup, bookshelves would look nice!
