Breakfast for a snowy morning....
....but that's sleet, not snow, that has accumulated in the grass! Here's another view -
Those green shoots from bulbs have been covered for the third time with ice!
A little prep for St. Patrick's Day!
Perhaps we will have some of that "luck of the Irish" this coming week. The weather forecast is quite like spring!
But first, we have to remember those clocks! As I write this post, I realize that this time tomorrow it will be an hour later! Yikes! I think I may be one of the minority who doesn't care for Daylight Savings Time. How about you?
Have a great week-end!
My husband said they grew up eating chocolate gravy and buttermilk biscuits, yours looks so delicious !
ReplyDeleteOur snow is melting...thank goodness.
Daylight savings time, I wish they would leave it alone.
Love your St. Paddy's dishes, yes, let's hope we are in for some Irish Luck soon :)

Nellie, That looks like a wonderful breakfast to me. Bless your heart, you gave me a memory for breakfast. We better all get to bed earlier tonight. LOL. Thinking of you, hoping you are all safe there in Tenn. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI'm with your friend, the Brit in Tennessee about DST---pick a time and leave it alone!!! I like the Indian proverb that says "Only the government would say that you could make a blanket longer by cutting a foot off one end and sewing it on the other." Without researching it, I have no idea where DST got started, so I don't know which party to be angry with for it, and it wouldn't do any good anyway! All of your pictures are great, and I hope we're through with all that ICE!! Hope you're having a super Saturday, Sister! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of time changing as it causes some adjusting to feed and milk the cows but we just ease them into it but the milk truck driver comes in very early to pick up the milk.
ReplyDeleteThose biscuits looks so delicious. Is that chocolate sauce?
I better get going.
Have a great day Nellie.
Hugs,
Julia
I dislike changing the clocks. I don't like it dark in the morning and now the mornings are really going to be dark!!
ReplyDeleteI'm having breakfast for supper tonight. : )
That breakfast looks delicious. Your St. Pat's things are adorable. St. Patty's Day was my dad's birthday. Growing up, his nickname was Pat. I think changing the clocks is silly. Just leave them be so the clocks inside our bodies don't get messed up.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I like daylight savings. It will be tougher in the mornings, but I will so enjoy the evenings. Nellie, those biscuits would be worth a trip to Tennessee.
ReplyDeleteI don't like that they begin DST in March now - it's so dark in the mornings, and not even springlike here - don't like it!
ReplyDeleteI wish they'd put it back to the first Sunday of April. :(
Wish I was there enjoying those biscuits and chocolate gravy!!! Looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteLovely dishes! I am getting ready for St Patrick's day today.
ReplyDeleteBanned complain !! Complaining only causes life and mind become more severe. Enjoy the rhythm of the problems faced. No matter ga life, not a problem not learn, so enjoy it :)
