On the menu....

The breakfast treat for this morning....

The first pan out of the oven, unglazed as yet, was Cinnamon Rolls.  The Husband was ready and waiting for one of these!  He’s not a fan of extra sweetness, so omitting the glaze suits him very well!

Using the same sweet roll dough recipe, these are Orange Rolls.  The dough was made last night and refrigerated until time for rolling out and shaping this morning.

Half of each pan has been stored in the freezer for enjoyment at a later time.

The menu for Sunday Lunch is oven-fried boneless pork chops, glazed carrots, green pea salad, and rolls. Yes, there will be dessert!

I’ll be back on Monday with pictures!

  1. Yummy rolls. I do not have to have glazes either. But oh boy those both sound so good. So does lunch. Blessings to you you and yours, xoxo, Susie

  2. mmm good. Once in a while when I get back from my walk Ken has some cinnamon rolls right out of the oven for our breakfast. Always a treat!!

  3. Though I'm on a low carb diet, I would have a hard time turning down one of your homemade sweet rolls, Nellie! Both of your pans of rolls are making my mouth water as well as your Sunday dinner. Enjoy!

  4. Good evening, Sister! As you know, I'm not good with yeast doughs for some reason, but I've been known to purchase sweet rolls from the case at the store! I normally don't use the glaze, either, as I'm not a fan of "sweet" without any flavor. I much prefer the taste of the orange or cinnamon. Your Sunday lunch sounds wonderful, as always, and I'll look forward to seeing Monday's post. Rest well! Love you!
