On the menu....

Yesterday was 9/11, a somber day for many, and a day that will live in memory for years to come.  I’m sure we all remember where we were as the events of that day unfolded.  I hope to be back next week with that Friday list.

A breakfast treat....or coffee....or tea....or anytime, really....is this Apple Fritter Bread.

A little glaze found its way to this one.:-)  While I bake most things “from scratch,” this is from a mix.  I like to focus on apples in September.

I also have it on good authority that today is National Chocolate Milkshake Day!  I may or may not have treated myself to something like this....

The menu for Sunday Lunch....aiming for a little surf and turf this week, shoe peg corn casserole, roasted asparagus, and dessert, of course!  I’ll be back on Monday with that dessert surprise!

Take care, be safe, and stay well!

  1. Oh, just looking at your yummy desserts makes me feel guilty. lol... Now I have to look the other way and go get a fruit for my dessert to keep diabetes in check.

    Stay safe and well.

  4. Sister, I had no idea that this was chocolate milkshake day, or I would've been out to my nearest fast food place to pick up a yummy treat! That bread looks like it would go perfectly with a fresh cup of coffee or tea, and I wish you could email me a chunk of deliciouness! Oh, well.....I look forward to seeing what dessert you've come up with on Monday. Until then, stay safe and well. Love you!
