This is a spot of such amazing beauty and tranquility! I have never visited Lake Junaluska, but have seen some truly lovely shots, including these that you posted here. Do you remember the Peace rose that our dad had in the front yard? It was very much like the one that you labeled as your favorite, but the blooms were HUGE, and there were only a few each summer. Roses have always been favorites of mine, and these pictures are just wonderful! Thank you for sharing!!
Lovely shots, Nellie. We too are getting just a tinge of autumn colors on our leaves here in Pennsylvania. The Roses are so pretty too. My rose bush is still blooming, thankfully. I know for sure when it sleeps for the season, winter will be upon us.
Thank you so much for sharing...can't wait to hear about your lake adventure:)
P.S. Blogger switched me to the new way too but I don't want it, EVER!!! I switched back by following the link in the upper right hand corner under the funny looking circle. Hope this helps, Auntie.
Nellie, Roses are the best. I wish I had lots more of them.Smiles to you, Susie
