This is the best these have looked since we set them out a few years ago!

You can see that this group is backed by the rosemary. It has done well all through the winter.

Asparagus! | | | | |
We have harvested our first asparagus this season. A lone asparagus spear, and it was good with our scrambled egg the next morning for breakfast. Yum!
More signs of spring abound! More on that in the next post.
Thank you for reading. I really appreciate your comments.
hahaha....at least it could have grown 2 spears!
ReplyDeleteOh, your garden is already wonderful, Nellie!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely spring gifts. Your garden looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI just had breakfast and I am ready for a salad.
Have a wonderful day Nellie.
I LOVE those beautiful yellow tulips! Apparently, they get along well with the rosemary, so that's a good relationship you have going there! :-) Perhaps that asparagus will find some friends to send your way soon, too....:-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Nellie. Those tulips are gorgeous. I can't believe you are harvesting already. Wow. There are no signs of spring here in Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL tulips Nellie. They look the best of any I have seen. And that asparagus spear just tickled me to death. Still grinning!
ReplyDeleteOh, Nellie, the tulips are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love asparagus, don't you? I make it in an omlette with chevre (goat cheese). It's divine.
Thanks so much for your visit and comment to my blog today. Appreciated both. Susan
