So happy I had the ingredients for this delicious hot fudge sauce! Recipe is straight from my friend Marci Ferguson’s book North of Supposed to Be.
Hot Fudge Sauce
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup half and half
6 oz. chocolate chips
Place in microwaveable measuring cup. Microwave for two minutes; stir; one more minute; stir; one final minute; stir. Add a splash of vanilla; stir; cool slightly before using! I think anything is better with hot fudge sauce added to it!

I love dark chocolate, especially the European chocolate that most other Americans seem to think is bitter. I have the ingredients for a cake called Darn Good Chocolate Cake. It lives up to its name. I think that will serve for a celebration of chocolate day.

DeleteGood evening, Sister! Isn't every day chocolate day?? It is at my apartment, and like Janie, I prefer dark chocolate, and I'm glad doctors have discovered that it's actually good for us! I've become somewhat addicted to Dove dark chocolate with almond Promises, and almonds are also good for us! See, I'm trying to keep a healthy diet! LOL Love you!
