This is a stocking for Shadow. He will really appreciate the treat that is in it.

This doesn't take care of all of the animals, though. There are two "grand dogs," five "grand horses," and then there is that flock of chickens! Since they have given us such wonderful eggs, isn't it right that they should receive a gift of some kind?:-)
This has been a busy week here. The chorus has already performed twice, with another performance on schedule before the week is over. Also, there was lunch with fellow retired teachers from my school, plus my annual physical was yesterday afternoon!
In the days ahead, there will be the baking of birthday cakes for Munchomom and Country Girl. That birthday comes on the 23rd!
I want to recognize a new follower. Thank you for signing up!
I really appreciate all of you who are following along with my blog. Thank you for taking the time to read it. I love reading your comments.
My son in law's birthday is the 23rd. Happy Birthday to all of the birthday folks!
ReplyDeleteI have always had a stocking for my cat Charlie. I need to find a new one this year for Mr Toes! They love their treats for sure! Big hugs during this busy time of year.

Love that you included the pets - we have to grandpuppies too. But I must admit I can't wait for those waaay in the future grandbabies!
ReplyDeleteI made my two birdies their own stockings. I posted last year. I hang them off their cages. They are my feathered babies. xo
ReplyDeleteOh my, on top of everything else, you had your annual health check up scheduled. Perhaps you can push it ahead next Dec.... to Jan. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do have a huge group of four-legged family members, and I'm sure they'll appreciate any treats you give them! When you think about it, the animals in the stable were the first to see the Baby Jesus, and I'm sure they were kind and gentle to Him.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have time for some good rest in the midst of all your fun activities! :-)
Our two cats have their own stockings too. You have quite the group to buy for. Very sweet.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any pets at the moment but when I do they get presents too after all they are part of the family. : )
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy!!
Absolutely, pets are part of the family! Chickens... I'm not too sure about that. What on earth do you buy for a chicken?
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to breathe in all the busyness!
Grandpets! I've never thought of that - it's good of you to even be thinking of the chickens.
ReplyDeletePets are quite special and are a part of the family... When I had Duchess, she had a stocking too....
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas.
Hugs,
Betsy
Pets are such a big part of family lives, aren't they? I haven't had the heart to get another one since we lost our little Misty Cat. Blessings- I hope you have a wonderful night- xo Diana
