Nature's surprises....

Happy Saturday to you!  I hope your week-end has something special planned.

Earlier this week, The Husband and I went to spend some time with the Country Couple.  We went on a hike with them, and I saw several of nature's "surprises."

Zebra Swallowtail butterfly!

Wild turkeys at work!:-)

We also saw Trillium, but my picture just didn't show them well.:-(  Country Girl has much better photographic ability than I!  She has even been able to sell some of her wildflower photographs in the past!

Thank you for reading.  I really appreciate your comments.

  4. There is LOTS of beauty in these parts, and the Country Couple has learned how to appreciate it! I especially like the picture of "someone's" toes for a dose of reality! Have a wonderful day, dear Sister! :-)

  5. Nothing like a walk in the woods, is there? Trillium is our state flower and it is illegal to pick it or transplant it here- xo Diana

  9. What a gorgeous photo of the butterfly. The girls and I are anxious to start exploring the woods behind our house again. I think it's "almost" dry enough to enjoy it without coming home covered in winter mud.
