Where did I go? What did I do?

Happy Monday!  I hope the week is off to a good start for you.

We have been "on the road" for awhile.  Where did we go?  Well, I believe I have enough pictures to take me through a week of blog posts, so I'll get right to it!

Our "travel season" began with a trip to Emory and Henry College for Founders Day.  As some of you may know, Emory and Henry is my alma mater, and we return to campus several times during the year.

We - The Husband and I - have a little joke between us about "eating our way across campus."

Fruit - a healthy option.
Mini-quiche

Baked treats.

Table seating was provided.....

....as was a touch of snow outside!  (March 27)

Dessert at lunch.

So, it is easy to see that this was no exception!  Our need for food was well-served!:-)

We returned home after this event just so we could prepare ourselves to leave once more.:-)  More on that tomorrow!

Thank you for reading.  I really appreciate your comments.

  2. Oh, it all looks so yummy! It is very hard to be around such a selection and not make a pig out of oneself, but I'm sure you were a good girl! :-) I love the way the tables reflect the school's colors, and I'm sure everything was lovely and enjoyable. Have a great soggy day today, Sister!

  9. I think a trip with food always makes things better. I don't remember loving my food options as an undergrad or graduate student, but now that I work at a University, I'm amazed at all the options that are available to students now. Can't wait to hear more about your trips.
