Out our front door....

Looking out our front door we see this....

Rain!  Glorious rain!

June was a very dry month, and we have a deficit in our average rainfall for the year.  That's why it is good to see the rain.

Hoping all is well with you!  We've been away for a bit and had a very slight Internet signal, so I've not been around to check on you in quite awhile.

Have a really good Thursday!

  1. I will agree that the rain is wonderful, but I would have preferred to have it on a day when I could sleep rather than when I had to be out and about. It was not too bad, though, and I should be dried out by supper time! :-) Got some really good deals at the store after my hubby finished with his chorus practice, so I guess it was worth the drenching! Have a wonderful afternoon, Sister!

  3. Nellie, It is so hard to believe that you had a rain shortage and we had the second wettest June in Indiana's history. Crazy. I thought of you this morning as your town was on the news due to the train wreck. Glad you are safe. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. Oh my gosh, Nellie! Here in Chicagoland, we've had more than your share of rain, almost 9 inches in June, unheard of! In fact, it was so chilly this morning, we had the heat on, crazy weather for sure! Happy 4th to you and yours!

  5. It's nice to have it when you need it, not so great when you've had too much. Bet your yard and garden are happy!

  7. We've had nothing but rain for weeks with only a few days of sun.
