    Blueberries is the emblematic fruit of my region, the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean. Thus we are nicknamed Blueberries. For me, the blueberry pie is more for the end of July and the whole of August.

    Hi Nellie, Wasn't sure that you were blogging --but it looks like you are back on a regular basis. I am trying to catch up a little --but still am extremely busy, and don't have time to blog much --or at least visit...

    Your pie looks delicious... Hope you all had a marvelous 4th. The rains were light today---so it didn't stop all of the festivities up here.. We have gotten about 6 inches this week (which we needed).
