I'm surprised that there were any leftovers!! That would have been gone by the second day here, whether the meringue was weepy or not! :-) Have a fabulous Friday, Sister! Love you!
Nellie, I think a weepy meringue comes from the pie and the meringue not being the same temperature. Now that I have written that, I am going to have to look it up.LOL. Hope you are ready for a fun weekend . Bless you, xoxo,Susie
The pie does looks delicious. It's been so long since I tasted a piece of home made pie. Having the eggs white at room along with the other ingredients temperature usually prevents weeping.

I'm pouring a cold glass of milk and will be right over for a slice of that pie!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't last long around here. Leftovers would be a thing of the past!
ReplyDeleteIf I were there, there wouldn't be any leftovers....smile. That pie and recipe look amazing!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

I really need that recipe.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like the perfect pie, and I am sure it's delicious. There wouldn't be leftovers here, either. Have a sweet week!
