You know Christmas is coming when....

....well, could the outside temperature be used as a sign?  Our temperatures have been more like spring than the approaching winter season!  Our high temperatures have been near 70 degrees this past week-end!  The prediction, though, is for cooler temperatures this week.

This is actually one sign that Christmas is coming.

Oranges!
When the fruit sold by the local high school band arrives, we know that Christmas will soon follow!

When this appears........

The Christmas Clown

............we know Christmas will soon follow!

When this tree makes its appearance, we know Christmas will soon follow!

Country Man and the team he was with on the mission trip this past week returned around midnight Saturday night.  Unfortunately, he isn't feeling very well.  That seems to be the case with the others, too.  Hopefully, Immodium and Gatorade will be a help toward feeling improved.

I hope this will be a good Monday for you, setting the tone for a good week ahead!

Oh, I have heard from Lisa who won the giveaway, and the calendar is on its way to her!

Thank you for reading.  I really appreciate your comments.

  1. It certainly looks as if Christmas is on its way to your house! Sorry to hear that Country Man is having some digestive disturbances, but he and the others should snap out of it quickly. I'm sure Country Girl is taking excellent care of him. Have a wonderful day! :-) It's feeling a bit more seasonal already after those thunderstorms we had early this morning!

    It smells very pretty though.

  7. Hi Nellie....Yup, signs of Christmas are all over the place. It's wonderful, isn't it?

You know what? It's been unseasonably warm here, too, and snow and a deep drop in temps is predicted.

Take care and thanks for all the visits and comments. Susan
