I am a graduate of this college! |
Just a little cold! |
Snow on the rooftop! |
Snow on the golf course! |
We make several visits to the Emory and Henry campus during the year. City Girl, Munchomom, Machoman, and Country Girl also graduated from there. One thing that was so interesting about our trip this time is that we had driven along the Interstate for a number of miles, and we didn't encounter any snow at all until we reached the exit for Emory and Henry! True to form, the weather there was colder than it was anywhere else we were that day.:-)
We were on campus to attend Founder's Day activities, in addition to be present for the ribbon cutting of the new dormitory. That is what I will share with you in the next post.
On Monday we had snow off and on all day, with no accumulation. I think most of you probably experienced some snowfall as well! Never fear! Spring will be here!
Thank you for reading. I appreciate your comments.
it is snowing here right now!
ReplyDeleteAnother dusting on our grass and car this morning, but the sun is trying to come out, so we still have that promise that Spring will eventually arrive! I LOVE the history of Emory & Henry, and you have really kept up with your fellow students through the years. Happy you had a good trip, even though it was short! Have a wonderful day today! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it, that you all graduated from such a venerable Institution.
ReplyDeleteGentle hugs,

ReplyDeleteWonderful that your entire family have shared college education and wonderful memories. Bet you guys were walking fast across the campus! Brrrrr! xo
ReplyDeleteI bet you enjoyed seeing your old campus. I think college campuses are so pretty in all seasons. God thing you dressed warmly though...brr 23 degrees .xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteAwesome that so many of your family members attended the same university.
ReplyDeleteHi Nellie, I've never seen anyone so involved with their college. Are you all on their boards --such as Trustees, etc??? E&H is a great little school... I lived closer to it --but chose Tennessee Wesleyan when I went to college because of their fabulous music program at the time... However, I have never gone back to any of the events at TWC... Just wasn't interested.... Of course, none of my kids went there. Oh Well... Glad you are involved.
ReplyDeleteStill snowing some here --but hopefully, it will stop soon.. I'm SO ready for some Spring weather.
Hugs,
Betsy
