Late thoughts for Palm Sunday....
Carol of the Children
- Author Unknown
Our Lord came to Jerusalem
On that first Palm Sunday,
Not clad in royal robe of fur,
Nor festive garment gay,
No steed had He to ride upon,
No kingly palfrey,
But meekly on a lowly beast,
Rode slowly on His way.
And as He drew near to the gates,
The people thronged around,
They cut palm branches from the trees
And spread them on the ground,
The little children flocked to Him,
And sweetly they did sing
Hosanna, Hosanna,
Hosanna to the King.
Sending wishes for a blessed Sunday to each of you!

Isn't that a beautiful piece, Nellie? Blessings- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteBlessed Sunday to you too, Nellie.
ReplyDeleteI hope your day is going well, with many blessings as we remember the adoration that was shown to the Man Jesus, and also remember the way the crowd turned on him in just a few short days. It was all a part of God's glorious plan, though, so we have much to celebrate! :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying this blessed day! Love that piece. God truly loves us doesn't,t he?
