For many of the special full moon events during this calendar year, we have had cloud cover and have been unable to see a good view of the moon. That was not the case last Saturday night.

Thunder Moon is what it was called. It was a couple of nights later before we heard any thunder, though.:-)
Were you able to catch a glimpse of the full moon this time?
Thank you for reading. I really appreciate your comments.
Yes, I did catch several glimpses of that gorgeous moon, but I didn't take the time to take any pictures, so I thank you for sharing yours! Have a terrific Thursday, Sister!
ReplyDeleteI love that second moon shot. I am glad you had a clear view this time! Beate was in on her visit last week and we were able to watch the full moon together for the very first time :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I went out and watched it rise. It was incredible. The page I read about astronomy said that August's super moon will be the biggest, so I am looking forward to that.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Great photos, Nellie. We couldn't see it when it was low like that.. We have too many trees and hills... We saw it up HIGH --but it wasn't as pretty as yours.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day/weekend. Hope you enjoy(ed) my Steam Locomotive blog post today... I'm so passionate about trains since my Dad worked for the railroad.
Hugs,
Betsy
I caught a couple or peeks of it too - beautiful.
