....is with us again. There is also the chance of some severe storms in our area later today. We are really behind in rainfall, and some good rain would be appreciated, though severe storms are not necessary.:-)
This was from the week of the Fourth of July. The high temperature was expected to be 83 degrees on Friday, July 4.

Not bad for the month of July! |

These summer days have also provided an opportunity for this.

The Husband and I enjoyed this production presented by an amateur theater group in a nearby town. It was the perfect choice for July 4!
Update: Our Church Community garden has now donated 473 pounds of produce to food pantries in our area.
Thank you for reading. I really appreciate your comments.
Yes, we have had some steamy days recently, and I'm ready for that cooling trend that's supposed to come in tomorrow! NOT a fan of upper 80s/low 90s!
ReplyDeleteYour church is doing a super job with that garden! Congrats to all who have been working on it! Have a marvelous Monday, Sister!
I'm impressed with the vegetable donated from the community garden. Mother nature is so giving and it's wonderful what your church is doing. I'm sure with some rain it would produce much more even.
ReplyDeleteWe have an overcast sky and had rain over night with a muggy 86 degree F. or 30 Celsius for today. I'm glad I got my lawn cut yesterday before the rain.
Hugs,
JB
Oh Nellie. That's wonderful about the fresh produce. What a great project.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visits. Susan

ReplyDeleteI just got in from working out and going to the pet food store and the grocery. First thing was to look at the data on my FitBit.
ReplyDeleteIt is so HUMID today. Like breathing water! I haven't seen the weather yet. xxoo
