Catching up on a bit of business....

Remember this?


This is the giveaway celebrating my three years of blogging.  I had published this post earlier several days ago, and just this past Monday announced the winner - Sara1025!  At this point I've not heard from Sara, and there was no apparent way for me to contact her when she left her comment.  If I don't hear from her by Sunday, December 14th, The Husband will draw another name.  I will keep you posted about developments.

Also, on some of the blogs I follow, there has appeared a verification box asking for numbers to be entered when making a comment.  I have learned that it is possible for me to skip that box and go ahead and press "publish."  I don't know if such a box is appearing on this blog when  you make your comment.  If it is, try skipping that step and going ahead to press "publish."  That might work!

    There is a number check..I don't have one..but many do..
    The Sara that won..if you click on her name does she have a website? You could contact her there maybe?
    A shame she should miss this!

    It is strange that I didn't have the number box till we were out of town and using a different computer. I thought that might have been the reason for the verification, but I see that I still have it, so I'll try skipping it and see what happens. Thanks for the tip, Sister, and have a fabulous Friday!     If Sara has a blog, you might try commenting on there and see if you can get a response.

    Hi Nellie , I do hope Sara come forward to claim her gift , if not , the hubby will have to pull another name . Hate to see Sara miss out on a wonderful gift .

    Hi Nellie. I have noticed it as well. Blogger has another glitsch, what else is new? I am going to try skipping it when it comes up. I hope it is not happening on my blog?

    I always have to put in the numbers in the box, it will only jump and show me another number, but there's always a chance! blogger is a strange animal, it often varies for me, hope you have a nice weekend!

    Ooh, yes, the word/number verification. I have tried and tried and TRIED to opt out of it, and it still appears each time I leave a comment on my own blog. Now, at least, it seems to have changed into a more-simple "prove you're not a robot" box to check, but I don't know why the opting-out never worked. Ah, technology!
