Santa Claus.....

....is coming!

A collection of Santas through the years.  The smaller one was a gift from a student in1988.
The one in the middle was a gift of a friend of our daughters in the church youth group, and the fiddle-playing Santa is in honor of City Girl who chose to play the violin in middle and high school.

The parade continues.  The smaller ones were painted by Country Girl as a Christmas gift for me a number of years ago.  The Santa music box was a student gift in 1995.

The appearance of these must mean the "real arrival" isn't far away!  Are you ready?

    They are so cute, Nellie. I divided my collection up between my four kids 2 years ago and just kept a very few special ones I couldn't let go. xo Diana

    Far from ready here! Tried to shop (for the first time) yesterday and my legs wouldn't hold up. Didn't get much done.

    They are lovely, I don't think I have a single Santa, Isn't that funny? I went to see my SIL yesterday and I was shocked at how many different kinds she had.
    Though I admit to having a certain liking for Belsnickles. Have a lovely day today Nellie, it is another rainy day here. :)

    A lovely Santa collection. I haven't started decorating yet. I'm running way behind this year and my company is arriving on the weekend depending on the road conditions.
    I love this time of year and the excitement in the little kids.

    I am not ready, but will be soon! I woke up at 1:00 am and started planning in my mind. I hate that! Hey you should write on the bottom of the santas where they came from. I try to do that because the older I get the less I remember who got me what!
