No matter how busy....

....these days become as we approach Christmas, there is always time to take a break and enjoy some Christmas reading.

My very favorite way to begin setting the mood for the season is to review this book - Christmas Joy - by Susan Branch.

Ideas for "decking the halls" are especially helpful.  Thank you, Susan!

Another book that is well-loved by many in our family is this one:

Some gllimpses inside follow.

Tolkien fans are sure to enjoy this one!

Take some time for a reading break!  I always feel refreshed when I do!

  1. Those look like some really good books! I enjoy reading the "Stories from the Heart" series, and the Christmas Stories from the Heart are especially heartwarming. I need to get that book out again and make a special effort to do some reading, since the stories are short and the book is easy to put down when time is short. Have a fabulous Friday, Sister!

  8. I have the Susan branch book. It is relaxing to scim through the pages of a book like that. Cookbooks with pictures or history in them are my favorite.
