My name was on the tag.
This is what I found when I unwrapped it! Country Man has been busy once again with his wood-working! This is made from pine with a cedar handle. I believe all the magazines that come to this address will fit into this!:-) I think it is destined to become a family heirloom!
Happy week-end!
It is indeed a work of ♥/art!
ReplyDeleteNellie, I love that. My daughter calls everything Ted makes for Christmas a family heirloom. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! He is quite a talented artisan, and you are blessed to receive such a gift! Enjoy your day today, Sister!
ReplyDeleteHand and heart-crafted gifts are the best! You are fortunate to have someone that uses both, to create wonderful heirlooms that can be passed down.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Nellie! Those are the best gifts!
ReplyDeleteOoh Nellie it's a grand piece !
ReplyDeleteHow very lucky you are, an heirloom indeed.

What a lovely gift. A homemade gift is the best. Reminds me of a doughboy bowl. Happy New year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special gift! One to treasure. : )
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! A treasure for sure! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThat is something to hand down to your children some day in the far off future. Or me. You can put me in the will. I'll inherit.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I hope your husband has signed and dated this piece of carved wood for posterity.
ReplyDeleteIt will make a lovely heirloom but in the meantime a nice home for your magazines.
Hugs
