I hope you have plans for an enjoyable Memorial Day holiday. I will be pausing at 3:00 for a time of silence while remembering those who have served our country in the military, thereby enabling those of us who live in the United States to enjoy the freedoms we have.
We watched an amazing tribute to our Veterans on the PBS channel on Sunday night. Were any of you able to watch it, too?
Wishes for a good day to all of you!
Thank you for reading. I really appreciate your comments.
It is fitting to remember such brave soldiers today.

I will never forget!
ReplyDeleteI am always touched by looking at our daughter-in-law's photos from her trip to France a couple of years ago. She posted pictures of the actual bunkers that those brave soldiers occupied while they fought during WWII, as well as a sobering picture of that huge cemetery over there. So many brave souls fought to ensure our freedoms, and many lives of those at home were changed forever. We must never forget the sacrifices of those and the fallen from other wars! Have a lovely and peaceful day, Sister!
ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day to you and yours... Let's never forget those men and women (past and present) who were/are in the Armed Forces and have done so much to give us the FREEDOM we have today. God Bless ALL of them and God Bless the USA.
