Down our street.... |

......and a husband who had gathered some of the greens, cleaned them, and cooked them - ready and waiting for me when I returned from a day-long UMW Committee Meeting in a neighboring county! What a treat!
Thank you for reading. I appreciate your comments.
Well, I got that silly error message again! I do agree that we have had some wonderful sunshine these past couple of days, and they are much appreciated after all the rain/gloom that we have had recently. As for those greens, your husband is wonderful at growing and preparing them, and I'm getting hungry now! :-) Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI think you have a very nice husband to have a meal all ready for you!
ReplyDeleteHi Nellie...Thanks for stopping by. Wow, greens in the garden already? Amazing. Here, the ground is frozen rock solid and covered with lots of snow! ha! Gonna be awhile before anything green pops up.
ReplyDeleteTake care and have a super good day. Susan
Nellie, I loved your pictures. Hope you are doing well. You can have my share of greens...I am not a fan of cooked greens. Now my sister , that's another story. xoxox,Susie
ReplyDeleteLove your sharing of "Jan. Gifts"!
ReplyDeleteSweet post, all round. Especially cool, accompanied with lovely photos!

Lucky you, Nellie- There is NO green here anywhere- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather... I'm not sure we're going to get much winter this year again -like last year. I do enjoy the sunshine though---but I feel sorry for hubby. He has to get the container roses (about 16 of them) out of the garage back out into the yard. They did not go dormant this year since it hasn't stayed cold for long. AND--now that it's warmer, they are beginning to grow/sprout.... Guess he'll have to move them back in IF we ever get any really cold weather.....Geeeeesssshhh!!!!! ha
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
It looks like a very nice January.
ReplyDeleteYou don't have snow either?
Have a nice week.
The blue sky in the first picture is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! OH, I'm loving your pretty snaps today and to know you have lots of sunshine. It's been raining and gloomy here for days! Now I'm not a very big fan of greens but I know they're good for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see me.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Nice street and blue sky! We had some blue sky yesterday. Today it's back to gray and rainy.
