Thoughts for today...

On this Sunday, I'd like to present this quote from "The World According to Mister Rogers," a book given to me for Christmas in 2003 by someone who follows this blog!  She actually had a birthday this past Thursday, so I'd like to wish her a belated happy birthday!

"Some days, doing 'the best we can' may still fall short

of what we would like to be able to do, but life isn't perfect -

on any front - and doing what we can with what we have

is the most we should expect of ourselves or anyone else."

I send wishes for a blessed Sunday to everyone!

  3. Nellie- Mr.Rogers was a wonderful, humble man...a man whose praises were never loudly sung. My kids all grew up with him-he was a kind and gentle soul. Great quote- xo Diana

  4. Great quote, from a great man! My kids grew up with his calm demeanor, which was a pleasant change from the way it normally was around this house, with four kids in it.

  6. A wonderful quote from a man who apparently lived what he wrote. It's not the same in the neighborhood without him. Have a blessed Sunday yourself! :-)
