On the road again....

This gave us some transportation!

Did you miss me?:-)  Last week was time for More Than A Vacation again, a yearly event sponsored by my college Alumni Office.

There were many activities that filled the days - and even into the evening - so the next several days have been provided with many blogging topics.

While Internet service was handy, time to take full advantage of it was not as we kept quite a busy schedule.  So - keeping up with blogs that I follow was just not part of my day.  Hopefully I will be able to assume a better schedule now that I am home again.

Those of  you who have been following this blog for awhile know that I am a graduate of Emory and Henry College, a small liberal arts college with connections to the United Methodist Church, located in Emory, VA in Southwest Virginia.  I am always anxious to return to campus for various activities, so I had been waiting for this opportunity with great anticipation.

The theme for this one followed the "Wizard of Oz."  Our Alumni Director - and the committee - used great creativity in planning the program, which even included attending a play!  So - you will learn some things about the area in this blog this week.  I hope you will return.

Incidentally, the blueberries/shopping featured in Saturday's blog were from the PAST Saturday.  The more recent Saturday was definitely NOT unscheduled.:-)

Thank you for reading.  I really appreciate your comments.

You have done a great job of keeping up with your college classmates, and these times bring much joy to you, I'm sure! I'll look forward to the next several days, as we learn more about your alma mater. Have a marvelous Monday, Sister!
