More summer days....

....bring summer's rewards for hard work in the garden.

Green beans from our garden!

All blanched and ready for the freezer.

Update:  The Community Garden at our church has already donated 320 pounds of produce to local food pantries!

  1. Your beans look so flawless! That's a lot of work, but the freezing process is much less complicated than canning would be, and I know you folks will enjoy these for a long time! Congrats on that great contribution from the church garden!! I'm sure the recipients are enjoying that fresh produce! Have a terrific Tuesday, Sister!

  7. I love green beans and so did my late mom. I never see them w/o thinking of her. This will be so handy and tasty to take out of the freezer. Enjoy!

  8. Those green beans look terrific. I made a bean salad the other day and would have loved to use some of them in it. : )
That's great your church is able to give that many pounds of produce away. What a blessing.
