I am currently posting this from my iPad, on which I have the specific pictures to illustrate these goodies. I'll be adding the pictures below, but run into complications when I try to comment on the pictures when I post this way. Therefore, I am attempting to list the pictures in order with the first one being the "tried and true" Hot Cross Buns. These have been featured on the blog in past years.
Next will be the Black Forest Cherry Cake, first time ever to try this one!
Finally, there are two rounds of Easter Egg Braid!
I hope you had a memorable Easter with time to be with those whom you love!
Black Forest Cherry Cake.....YUMMM!!! All of these look delicious, but that one requires a recipe, please! :-) Hope you're having a good day, Sister! Love you!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh it all looks amazing! I’ve never made the Easter egg braid, I was wondering if it’s a sweet bread? I make a braided cardamom bread at Easter, it’s a sweet eggy yeast bread, I’m anxious to try your Easter egg braid, I’ll look for that one!
ReplyDeleteI've never had hot cross buns. They look delicious.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
mmmmm those goodies sure look good!!
ReplyDeleteNellie, All your baked treats look very tasty. The cake sounds like I might like it. LOL. I had Easter with some of my family and loved it . Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteWish I lived next door to you, Nellie! What great treats, love them all, esp the hot cross buns! I love them! Take care
ReplyDeleteThey all look good but I'm a strictly a no sugar girl... except what happens in natural fruits. I looked at recipes in my desert recipe books and they all have no appeal to me lately.... I think that after all these years I finally got cured of the sugar cravings and I really feel good about it... I'm not judging you, Nellie or your sweet tooth but I'm not going back. lol... I really hope you had a great Easter.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julia
Nellie, I can see you are a truly great baker! Such yummy looking treats. We had a quiet Easter this year, but meaningful. Have a wonderful week! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun bunch of cooking. I really love what you made. I really need to try my hand at making hot cross buns.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks utterly delicious, and I will bet not a crumb was left!
ReplyDeleteThe 23rd was St George's Day. Another reason to celebrate.
