Those scones look delicious, Sister! I wish I could join you and The Husband for a tea break every day! Maybe I'll just have a glass of ice water and a brownie? Enjoy the rest of your day! Love you!
The English are so wise. I've been to some hotels that serve afternoon tea. It's lovely to take that break and then eat supper during the evening. I haven't had scones in such a long time.
Dear Nellie, It's good to be in touch with you again. I have recently returned from a trip to England and Ireland. While staying in Cornwall, I enjoyed a lovely cream tea (or more) with scones, strawberry jam and Rodda's clotted cream. Of course, that went with a nice cup of tea, my favourite beverage:) Hope this finds you and your family well. Betty (Melbourne)
Hi Nellie ~ Happy International Cream Tea Day. Looks delicious. I baked scones to hand out to visitors to my work place at the National Trust. Fun day!
