For the season....

Happy Friday to you!  The week-end is almost here.  Do you have special plans?  We have had gorgeous weather here this week, perfect for outdoor activities.

I seem to have begun to feature books in the Friday blog.  Today's choices are perfect for Halloween reading.

Full of good ideas.

Do you have any special October projects underway?  I always enjoy reading through the books I have.  Sometimes I gain motivation to try something different.:-)

Remember!  There is a giveaway of these two scarves.

#1

#2
If you want to be considered for the giveaway, leave a comment and tell me which scarf has your interest by Sunday evening.  That is when The Husband will pull the winning names from the hat!  I will announce the winners in Monday's post.

Thank you for reading.  I really appreciate your comments.

  2. I actually do have some special plans for this weekend! Our church is having our annual Roundup Sunday, which will include dinner after the morning service. There will be barbecue provided, with sides/desserts brought by the rest of us, and our recently retired pastor will be recognized as Pastor Emeritus. It should be a most enjoyable time, and we'll be happy that the evening service has been cancelled for that day. Have a wonderful day, Sister! :-)

  5. The only October project that I'm currently working on is cleaning up around the farm. Our Thanksgiving turkey dinner will be small this year as my daughter and her family go to the lake for Thanksgiving and use this occasion to close off the cottage for the winter and her family also visit with her inlaws in the nursing home.

    Have a happy weekend.
    Hugs,
    JB
