Here are some I collected from a number of years ago. They included help with menus.
There was always a good opportunity to find some good recipes.
I am liking the sound of that Quick Corn Pudding, so that may find a place on the table here very soon! Grits in Casserole sounds like a good choice, too! I'll try to remember to take pictures!
The "Santa Crunch" is on! Does it seem like someone pushed the "fast forward" button? Eight more sleeps until Christmas Day!
These are wonderful! I wish they were still around. Yes, that fast forward button has also been pushed here. LOL It is just flying by!ReplyDelete
This is a lovely collection! I never got any of those books from our local utility company, but they look really great and practical! Have a wondrous Wednesday, Sister!ReplyDelete
Nellie, You surely have given many dinners. I love the menu books. It's nice to see what others would serve at occasions . Blessings, xoxo,SusieReplyDelete

Yes it is on, I can tell by how much I am out of the house. I am gone so much every day. It will soon be over though. No, I don't remember those books because I think I was 12. :) I think they look handy. I was into making pizza's out of canned biscuits. :)ReplyDelete
Have a lovely day,
I do remember those little booklets they put out with recipes and tips in them. What fun that you still have some of them. xo DianaReplyDelete

I'm already, but it done come up fast this year.
What a nice service. I wish we still had that sort of thing. When my son was born, I thought it was wonderful that a woman who worked for the county came to our door when he was about a week old. She made sure he had his first appointment with the doctor and said that if we needed transportation she would drive us there. We didn't need help, but it was great that someone was available to help. I'm sure many families needed that assistance.ReplyDelete
That was before my time. Before my conscious time anyway.ReplyDelete
Very cool memories. Hug BReplyDelete
I haven't seen my utility cookbooks in a while nellie. Thanks for the reminder. Many of those recipes were contributed by customers. I always find them to be so interesting. Grits in a Casserole sounds like a GREAT choice. Go for it Nellie!!!ReplyDelete
