The first time I saw Paris..... was in Bourbon County, Kentucky!

In addition to the downtown area.....

....there were some pretty views - plus -

acknowledgement that livestock is a major player in the life of this area!

The street is one-way, so it would be several hours before we would see these following examples -

Wish I could tell you about the pictures.:-)  We didn't stop to take a tour, and I was a passenger as we were driving along.  It was a really pretty town.
If I ever have plans to visit Paris, France, you can be sure I will let you know.:-)

  1. Nellie, I never think stockyards when I think of Paris. LOL. I like the buildings there. I wonder just how many town are called Paris in the U.S. :):) Blessings for a great Wednesday. xoxox,Susie

  2. Hi Nellie , been away for awhile , lot of catching up to do . It is a beautiful town , so peaceful . Thanks for sharing .

  3. This is a lovely little town, and I'll bet it would be interesting to take a tour of some sort. As you know, my DIL just returned from a trip to Switzerland and France, and she included Paris as part of her itinerary. Please do let us know if you plan such a trip! Have a wonderful Wednesday, right here in your own little corner of the world! :-) Love you, Sister!

  4. I wish we could have been there to meet you! So glad you got to see wonderful Kentucky and even Paris ;)
    Lots of hugs to you!

  5. You had me going there for a while. I thought of Paris France. lol...
Yes, if you go to Paris France, let us know.

  6. Pretty little town. No traffic!!! That's what I like!

  7. When I was a kid my sister and I hated it every time we had to drive through a town with a stockyard. Oi! the stench. We always complained, to which my mom replied, Oh, shut up.

  8. I think it was still a lovely trip. Paris France would be nice but I bet there are lots more people. :)

  9. On my one trip to Europe, we were supposed have a layover in Paris...but we were re-routed to Frankfort (and only stayed there about an hour). That is as close as I got to Paris...

  10. We have a Paris, Texas. That's as close to Paris as I'd ever get.

  11. Nice little town. Never been to Paris, France nor any other Paris. : )
